Crystal Descent turns that dilemma into a charming strategy game about a drilling machine and the riches hiding below. Tap or click an available connected route to move your drill one step at a time, and every advance can uncover crystals and other resources worth pocketing. The catch is that every expedition has to end sometime. With the on-screen buttons you manage the whole journey: head back along your route, sell everything you have collected and invest the earnings in upgrades that carry you further on the next run. All of it can be handled with the mouse alone, whether you play on a desktop or a touchscreen. The result is a gentle but genuine strategy loop.
