How to Play Neon Snake

Steer the snake with the arrow keys or WASD — it slithers forward continuously and turns the instant you press. Each apple you swallow adds one segment to your tail and adds to your score, and a fresh apple spawns somewhere else in the arena immediately. The longer you survive, the faster the snake gets.

The run ends the moment your head hits a wall or any part of your own tail, so every turn needs an exit plan. There are no lives and no pauses in the hunt: points come purely from apples eaten, and beating your saved high score is the victory that matters. When the screen goes dark, one keypress starts the next run.

Tips & Strategies

Think two turns ahead. Never make a turn without knowing where the next one goes. Most deaths come from steering into a pocket of empty space with no way back out.
